I could but we might have to hitch the trailer to the ST. Not sure my truck is up to hauling it! :goofy:

But seriously, if you need a lift, I can make it happen.

Alrighty then.

If i was to trailer over I might even bring the VFR!

Do you realize that you'll have to ride in a "sportbiker" position for possibly several hours at a time, versus the stodgy, old-man ergonomics of the ST?

No, never mind them!

You need a stodgy, upright, old-man Duc Multistrada!

Thanks for the offer Trace, I'll just drive over in the Benz and ride your Strada during the event.

Way Cool!

Well actually, I was gonna leave the fukn motorcycles at the Shack and bring the Vette.  It's quite at home on the BRP...just ask Cindy, who is still mad at me for banging her head against the passenger window numerous times.  (I told her to pay attention and quit with the texting and Facebooking)  In fact, why don't we just plan to get a bottle or three of whiskey and take turns driving it between a few sips?  We can wind up drunk in Cherokee and lose all our money in the casino.  And end up with Bad Women.  Won't that be fun?

Yes!  I am working on a top secret project to put the VFR back into more full-time duty although may not be in time for this event.

In a few years, this conversation will devolve into what model Hoveround will be used to ride around the parking lot.

Well, if two were to show up in the parking lot this year, I'm sure it would only be minutes before a race broke out....

We need to round up some z/xr/crf 50's.

Picked the VFR up today from its starter valve sync. Still has terrible fueling issue. Maybe injectors? Taking the 500 next week and maybe next month to Boone. All the suspension mods are useless if I can't stand riding it.

Randy, I found a bike of fleabay for you if yours doesn't work out.  I'm sure this one is well-cared for and you could have it ready for the (don't) Fall Ride.  Better get it before Ben buys bike #6.  It doesn't say anything about the fueling, so it could be as bad or worse than yours.  Per sales description (you can't make this stuff up):

2008 Honda Interceptor. Only 6000 miles.  Single axle, chain drive, 900 cc liquid cool engine and automatic dual brake activation (so you know you won't flip over if you activate the front brake only in an emergency). Never crashed or being down. A good bike with great looks at a great price.

What you two do while parked in the Vette is not of real interest to me and please wash the seats down before my next ride!

Well as it turns out, I'll be riding my new to me but longtime VFRD member owned 2000 VFR. The BMW is taken down awaiting full Wilbers suspension and I'm not riding on the stock crap shocks.

Freshly rebuilt Penske shock, new coolant, fresh oil, new high mount carbon pipe, 8 spoke, and some LED headlights.

Its been 3.5 years since I brought a VFR to a VFR meet!

That bike is a piece of junk and that longtime owner was a dumbass when it came to proper maintenance.  And even worse, rumor has it that BR rode that bike to Daytona for Bike Week.

I heard a rumor that the bank angle sensor was directly wired to the brake light and that everytime it passes a single moms working to pay off their college loan type establishment that the side stand deploys all standing hampton like and the kills the engine.

Either way that VFR is much happier to live in proximity to the Eastern NC roads.

That mod was removed before he sold it.

And now it is sitting unused in a box next to the stripper pole. The Duck comes with this as standard equipment.
