Member Contributer tbzep Posted July 26, 2015 Member Contributer Share Posted July 26, 2015 Spoiler................................... Stoner's crash was due to a stuck throttle. Broken right scapula and left fibula. I finally have something in common with a world champion: crashing a Honda and having my shoulder blade shattered, same shoulder even! The Phantom
Bad luck for Stoner and his team! HD video here, at 0:20 you can see he's got the clutch pulled all the way in, and you can hear the engine on the rev limiter.
Member Contributer tbzep Posted July 27, 2015 Member Contributer Share Posted July 27, 2015 Typical of HRC. They tried to pin the blame on Stoner until the video was posted on social media and the bike data came back showing the throttle was stuck open 26 degrees before the crash.
