If the R/R is in a different spot, and the power output wires are a different length, that would make it a new part# for sure. Maybe even a new R/R with a different plug. Member Contributer JZH Posted June 26, 2015 Member Contributer Share Posted June 26, 2015 Part numbers generally only tell you if the bikes use the exact same parts; whether different parts nevertheless fit is a question that can only be answered by educated guessing, trial and error. IOW, somebody's got to step up and order some parts! (Speaking of which, whatever happened to the guy who was trying to fit an 8th-gen wheel and axle to an earlier model?
