VFRfix
Hi there, SCramblers seem to be coming into vogue and I was thinking about doing some sort of moto-bars-upright-type-conversion to the VFR I just bought. Maybe it woul dbe more of a upright cafe racer/ naked bike... i dunno just brainstorming Does anyone have any favorites that can be seen on the internets? I was thinking it might need lower pegs too but can't see how to get them any lower or more forward than I have already done with Larry's lowering blocks... Also curious if there is a tail end off another bike that seems to meld well with the 5th gen VFR to give it a more modern backside.
keef
I used a ninja 250 tail, PalladinReed used a 1098 (I think) tail. Google Vfr streetfighter and see what comes up.

Member Contributer MadScientist Posted April 10, 2015 Member Contributer Share Posted April 10, 2015 Well I googled "rambler style motorcycle" and there are are some hot chicks with motorcycles... ...and this Maybe he means scrambler, and I don't think the VFR frame and tank lines are very compatible with that particular "style". Would need to do a good amount of customization to pull of a scrambler VFR. Dual high shotgun pipes and a riser handlebar is going to look out of place with most of the rest of the bike.
