BigFish
I completed my childhood dream of buying a street bike (finally). Only regret is that I did not do it 20 years ago. I stumbled across this site while spending countless hours (actually weeks) on line researching bikes. The VFR kept coming up as the go to bike from both this forum and several other sites. I found my 5th Gen in Ottawa.....turns out she belonged to a VFRD member (so I got to see a few photos of her in her younger years). Loving my 99....our kids thought we should call her Bee which is quite suiting since I have had colleagues ask me who has the transformer like bike. Member Contributer Duc2V4 Posted September 7, 2014 Member Contributer Share Posted September 7, 2014 Welcome Aboard! Better late than never I say. Although I didn't get my first VFR until only a few years ago, I did finally get one, two in fact. No, neither are the VF500 Interceptor I longed for back in High School, but I can finally say I have an Interceptor and probably enjoying it as much as I would have 20+ years ago! At least I like to think so and in this era of my life I can take extra long weekend trips without needing a note from my parents due to unscheduled absences. It all worked out for the best I guess.
