Beck
The fairing plastic (Polyester?) material was supposed to be able to take severe impact without cracking or tearing, and the flexible panels can be easily pushed back out to it's original shape after a prang. Did the product fizzle out before getting into the market, or are they the pattern fairings we now see being sold from Taiwan/China with the racing graphics? I remember that the new farings caused a quite a stir when prototypes were featured in articles on some MC publications a few years ago as an upcoming product to be sold by aftermarket retailers, Pictures of farings in the articles being bashed in and pushed back out to their original shapes looked remarkable, but it was never really clear to me if it ever made it further than prototypes and out into production..... Member Contributer YoshiHNS Posted February 27, 2014 Member Contributer Share Posted February 27, 2014 I don't remember hearing about any of this. I doubt that's what the chinese are selling.
