Member Contributer Rice Posted July 9, 2010 Member Contributer Share Posted July 9, 2010 Welcome aboard. You are at home now for sure :fing02: That list of mods is enough to make most on here drool. I know I did. :goofy: If you're shooting for the least weight possible and spearing no effort, why not make carbon fiber gas tank? It doesn't even have to cost a ton. Do it yourself using existing tank as a mold? Just a thought. Good luck with your build and keep the progress coming.

Thanks! here is the carbon bodywork b4 it is straipped and repainted silver The whole bike is getting redone and there is not much left on it not upgraded. You can see the subframe but is is a wee little carbon fiber stump/seat. I have intentions of having a billet SSS made too once i get the bike back with some more room for the tire

Thank you for the welcome I have had a carbon tank sitting here for over two years i made wating to install it. I also have a spare tank being modded to accept top ram air tubes like the RC45 so i can build top carbon tubes for them too if i choose. I bike has been getting worked on for 3 years and the project just slowly took on more stuff. I have some many parts with me here now i am liable to just take her apart again to install the boxes of new parts to replace the old new parts
