Looks sweet man! How'bout a bike to match? :goofy:

Damn pain management doc took me off my other meds, have to wait

72 hours for new meds. Also, due to pain management med contract I

had to surrender my old script. So, I'm slow and limpin like I have no

spine again :goofy: .....

So, HOPE to have my new meds by FRI. If anyone wants to know OPANA

doesn't do as well as discribed.

LONG STORY HUH, Saturday I'mma do some glass work and try and prime

both upper and lower this weekend. Then ready for stripe mask and color

Very nice! What kind of airbrush did you get? I have been thinking about getting one for touchup work.....but I have never used one either.

Why do you need to remove the liner? I would think that would render the helmet non-wearable as I wouldn't trust the install I don't think.

I would also like to know what airbrush kit you used. Thanks for posting the start to finish photo sets. Nice work.

It looks great and will give you the added benefit of satisfaction when someone compliments it out on the road and you tell them you did it yourself!

I got a 3 brush kit off fleabay Paasche, air pencil, brush, and gun for 80

bucks or so. I can tell you I went local and the brush alone was 92. I

removed all the liner so I wouldn't get over spray on it. Its not hard to

remove, also, for the most part its taped in. Installing and putting it like

it came shouldn't be hard at all if I can break apart a bike and put it

together and feel comfortable in doing so a lid is cake

That looks great Fly. I especially like the silver flake, it contrasts nicely with the clear coated carbon fiber.

I tried to paint mine. Taped off a design and rattle canned it. Globs and overspray. So I just painted the whole thing yellow and drew a smiley face on the back. Cheesy, but bright. It was a cheap helmet, so I don't care.

Your helmet looks great, Fly.

FOR WHAT ITS WORTH, I know its too late but... Duplicolor makes a great

rattle can. Best nozzel I have used, it would be very hard for someone to

tell if its not from a spray gun. Great color selection also.

Thanks for the compliment

Looking forward to the update!

Check out www.eastwood.com, they have a Real Fire kit with dvd and all, as well as lots of great restoration products.

My autobody-shop buddy went to a real fire class(he's sponsored by PPG for all kinds of stuff!!), and he came back with some real nice practice panels.
