  1. Hey! mailman! Stop complicating things :pissed:
  2. I just got'em done. I ordered part # 14520-MCW-003 - two of them. They are the same. Paid $55 for each through Dave Lusk (1-866-283-1147) A very nice fella who gave me the lowest prices (after I mentioned VFRD). I originally got his coordinates from BR's post from many moons ago. :fing02: Beware of one major gotcha when replacing the front CCT. If you don't wedge all the fuel lines out of the way, you will have to tilt the CCT when lifting it out of the hole. This will cause the metal end cap to get snagged on the motor wall and fall off into the engine. I was lucky and fished mine out. HERE is the linky to my thread to give you a perspective. Heed the warning if you don't want new or additional gray hairs Good luck.
  3. I did. I certainly will. And then I will some more What possessed you to mutilate the "yellow" peril? I thought you liked motorcycles
  4. KKKen, please tell us it ain't so
  5. Oh man! You guys are kiling me. Here I am laughing out loud in the middle of an otherwise very somber room of people (I work for a bank).

HAHA! Odesskiy Privoz. I just came from there and brought some of that Vobla back with me. I hope you didn't eat any of those cooked shrimp... :491:
  7. Congrats on the baby and on the other changes in your life! P.S. I've done worst with my kids... And they've survived and are quite allright. Don't sweat it.
  8. I'm far from being an expert, but one thing I've learned during this t-mac while riding behind some MUCH faster guys, is to have very little if any weight on your but. 90% of your weight should be supported by your legs. That way the transition is much smoother as you "simply" shift from one leg to the other w/o having to shimmy your assets on the seat. This is only applicable in very rapid transitions and for a brief periods of time, after which my untrained legs were not cooperating any more. But, while they were, it was pretty smooth (by my standards). Body position as you have described. Hope this makes sense.
  9. This is an amazing project and very timely as well. I am watching with a lot of interest. Also of interest is the fact that the rise in oil prices has brought alternative technologies to the forefront. I like! Keep up the good work! On a related note, you seem very knowlegable in this electric business. Would you or anyone else know how much power it takes to charge an average electric car? A ballpark? Or a possible source to find this info? I'll appreciate any help in finding this out. The reason I'm asking is I am helping with a case study for a company that owns a patent for a 99.995% efficient power switching technology. The goal is to show savings on the example of electric car that their technology provides vs. regular 80% efficient technology.

    The word is out...

I'd be interested to know the story behind this one as well. Looks like a free gas to bikers giveaway at the top of a montain
  16. Where are your priorities, man! You can always grow a new knee. The bodywork is pressious :goofy:
  17. Nice! I too have a Fox twin clicker. Having it rebuilt right now and I will also need to mount it somewhere. For now, I came up with the same temp. location as you did. What a coincidense  I am thinking of making a bracket to go on a rear subframe. Now, that I finally have a workbench and vise in my "shop" I can prolly muster that much :idea3:

    I Am Back !

Welcome back! Missed ya :) I am also a newcomer to "the sport". Sometimes I enjoy riding and sometimes riding feels like a chore - I am OK with not riding if I don't feel like it.
