The Mesa 2 packed in to a bag about 12" long and 6" diameter, minus the poles of course. The REI tents also got good reviews, along with a bunch more that are way out of my price range. Where you headed after the Summit? east, west, north, south?

Rob, how about putting in the shorter 4th gen dogbone, gains you a little over an inch rise in the tail, then remove some or all your shock shims to get it just where you want? I'm running the 4G db and 3 or 4mm of washers on top of the shock. 'course my centerstand is completely useless now.

Nice, looks good, mine is wired up almost exactly the same and the remote mounted in same location. I ran the wires to a relay though that ties in to the high beam circuit so I can just click the high beams.

Hi, Can you mesure how long the stock 5th gen shock is? I´m currius to know. I try to figur out to fit a 4th gen Öhlins to my 5th gen, but dont want to take out the shock if any can mesure from one alredy out. Thanks My 5th gen shock is ~ 12 13/16" (325mm) eye-center to eye-center.

Gen 3 & 4 are 41mm also. Also the VF1000's. Not sure on the others.

So how does this differ from an automotive charging system, if at all?

I have the RC51 front end so I was thinking, for me, this color is almost a perfect match to the front forks, see Tom's mutant VF. May tackle it this winter. Toro's looks good but I'd go with a flat black.
