    November Ride

What a lovely VFR, and the photo does it justice. I was surprised by the location as it looks like it could have been taken in my backyard - clear across the continent from you.
  2. Great photo of a fantastic part of California. I took almost the same shot from one curve behind you a few years ago. Did you ride from Jolon/Lockwood or just up & down the hill from PCH?
  3. Looks like a fantastic location - where is it?

What a fantastic bike. Swap on a set of Y2K mirrors and it'd be perfect ;-)

It looks like a beautiful morning for a ride. And the bike ain't too shabby either.

    Yosemite

I love Yosemite, and cannot wait to get back. A few years ago we crossed Tioga Pass on July 4th and the temperature was right at freezing!
  7. Great collection of VFRs at one of the better riding areas in Oregon.
  8. Today's wx made for a good rainy day project - new front brake pads for my 2009 VFR800 - fwiw, I used Galfer FD344-G1380. A couple of notes: 1.The new pads might be ever so slightly thicker as it was a bear to get enough clearance to fit the new ones. Might be worthwhile pulling the calipers for a good cleaning next time. 2. The pad pin on my '09 is one piece, with a 6 mm bolt head. No rubber/metal plug hiding an allen bolt.

    Lake Hennessy

Can't be California with a lake that full ;-P Great end-of-the-day shot.

    35 Going to the Sun

I should note that from St Mary west to Logan Pass, pictured behind the VFR, there was 9 + miles of road work - enough that TKC80 would be a better tire choice ;-) Dunno if they'll finish before winter closure. The clouds look threatening but by West Glacier the sun had reappeared. More to come…
