Thanks didit,

It's a blessing to have a place to ride when the snow chases you out of the mountains.

Thanks Brian...be cool to check this out some time:

Looks good...we should do that in the spring or in conjunction with WSBK weekend at Laguna.

I loved this road, I've been on it twice and both times it was a great ride. It's really great when you are riding through the clouds and then come out above them before heading down to the coast.

Laurales Grade runs from Laguna Seca to Carmel Valley Rd so WSBK may be a good combo. Spring works too.

This was my first time on the road...getting to know this area a bit more.

Great photo of a fantastic part of California. I took almost the same shot from one curve behind you a few years ago.

Did you ride from Jolon/Lockwood or just up & down the hill from PCH?

Kind of funny, like I said it was my first time.

It was Jolon to Mission, got lost a little around the Fort Hunter Ligget gate, got real worried seeing a blocked bridge that looked like it went where I wanted to go but found a road that crossed a dried up river ... if El Nino kicks in, I'd need to find a different route.

Hi Rich..we'll take any extra snow you can spare on our side of the Sierras. Most of the lakes over here are meadows.
