  1. I’m working my way through one that was stored for 14 years V4dreams.com is Joe Nelson and he knows everything about them ….squirrelman is the carburettor guru👌 BTW The Haynes manual contains the correct information about the FK, the Climer doesn’t, probably because it was never an American import
  2. The bolt is M8, using an 8mm drill in the Allen bolt head carefully drill through the bolt head until the head comes off and the assembly drops out
  3. Not really, I don’t even put mine on for the MOT
  4. I’d drain the float bowls and see what comes out .... sticking float?
  5. Theres NRP who sell them fitted or loose https://nrp-carbs.co.uk/
  6. Here’s some https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/184158702270?epid=2224778027&_trkparms=ispr%3D1&hash=item2ae0b6cabe:g:oKsAAOSw8lpeOKAC&amdata=enc%3AAQAFAAACgBaobrjLl8XobRIiIML1V4Imu%2Fn%2BzU5L90Z278x5ickk8Fd9si%2FIbtWQr%2BhnlRwjDb%2FVTrX0iSd6jP4Yz95C7x6JsutQ6yitmnISpCRvIDRBB7sV%2FIM2QvCGeNz0oXVXqz4eN%2Fa8edNizPjqBmfoSEe2mXSWeHy6purfw%2FTqTTAVs%2FYguAPdZDhHz6sQKTeycVbvTdQfwO2A4adl8OsMbh6k%2FR0N%2Bv0qw937RHke4N1Qx%2BLKCmi2jUOmvTt7ZOhuA%2ByZo4mRVgwBMUuRcTH%2Bz4wzGPzKbAnxENFWw1kPyOG4LMdtRAso%2F4MP3MeeTW0qrJyMQLC%2B3OvCAa3ks83ApvCbrbiRHrFssgSggpxaJVMojf1iXI3NZF57yhqNtM8peVnAiAvXLADYaCUAaSaSAOo495Wb1ds2tFcXYt3j%2F6%2Bd9J%2BcNZIlvt10y00pGJwPIsOoC567GvATDdJNkBK%2BdVQMVW%2FzsPG0ffZdN%2F7jQOyBScrrI5ij2SQO8OpyBmWrpNkxKpiN%2FJQoCysL1cC4xO7DXMu3VAC0F4CDPOrNldF0PbQUgCBAF7cOLdJk8m3Q0mFE%2FTeirGbod9DvN%2F2Dk1Q4cLkSESbdFMJ2wpm%2FnOGvPumKFUqJK%2BbXMAsJaWCNX1jrGHuBz5PisBuf07eTmSZGXGETq%2FcKdZVVJrHAaLn3Hs5tS2TJaUiURUdPXymzjuVwLx3Lnxqbz7%2FnXUBKx8xWFkXqsUuj2L1aJ4%2BCpVIKZNCXHJZea81ZCSGYU5Vjub1zBxTmkPEWmaoPlyVjMfinpqWfkChk0kuL8627Rcm%2F3ZBR3Iw5Tm%2BsaB9uZ4AvixRyWsCKUnXRic4a%2BdUKVHA%3D|cksum%3A184158702270b0df425453b84969bb3575170ee324fc|ampid%3APL_CLK|clp%3A2334524
  7. Have you tried swapping the springs around?
  8. If you have the carbs apart then get 4 new #40 jets to replace the #38 that are in there .... it’ll tickover much better
  9. There’s felt washers inside the carb bodies on the throttle spindle, if they’re not kept lubricated the spindles can rust and lock up exactly as described My #1 carb had been subjected to frequent squirts of petrol by the PO then he left if for a while and the carb seized up solid
  10. If that’s a new Akra it may well not fit, there’s were some changes to ‘17 bikes onwards involving Euro 4 (?) Has it got a removable baffle? Mind went straight onto my 2015, bought and fitted in 2015
  11. This lady made and fitted a new cover on my RC24, including the plates for the seat hump and did a stunning job https://www.motorcycleseatcovers.co.uk/ Total was £57.49 including return shipping Definitely worth paying to have the seat cover fitted by her Or there’s this as a replacement https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/303981373265?hash=item46c6b3a751:g:CRAAAOSwiWhgjVCL
  12. I still miss my CCM ... over bored to 710cc and full race cam ....
  13. Sorry about that .... these people are in the UK http://www.motomatrix.co.uk/ecu-repairs.html
  14. How about these people to test the ECU and maybe repair it http://ecumeistro.com/motorcycle-ecu/ or https://the-ecu-doctor.co.uk/ecu-testing-rebuild-services/
  15. Just a thought ... have you tried a general auto gearbox company? I just found this company and the first item in the list of Honda faults is - won’t go into gear If nothing else they may have a contact https://www.autogearbox.co.uk/honda-auto-gearbox-repairs/
  16. Joe has a very helpful write up on that .... you really need 2 people to get them off Don't forget to warm up rubbers up or they’ll just rip apart and that’ll really piss you off
  17. Welcome ..... whereabouts in Cotswolds are you? .... I’m not far from Wotton Under Edge No idea what your message means ....
  18. Rust removal Etching primer chemically bonds to the clean steel, I’ve been doing this for years, personally I prefer painting the inside than putting a new epoxy liner in I’ve recently been doing everything you’re about to start so have lots of other information and links .... good luck
  19. The reason I asked was this guy is doing complete 4 carb kits including float valve for $20 delivered https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174527528066
  20. You need to read Joe’s write up with pics @ V4dreams.com for the carbs The carb rubbers will be rock hard, particularly with the rotten weather we’re having, so make sure you warm them up This guy has a complete 4 carb set of O rings, jets, float valve etc for £15 delivered https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174527528066 First clean the tank out with white vinegar then depending on the state electrolysis with a battery charger will get you back to clean metal I put grey etching primer in mine and made sure it was in every crevice
  21. Expect to find the O rings on the pipe and thermostat to fall apart, there’s one inside the rear head for the pipe Not changing the float level valves?
  22. This is a good source of gaskets, O rings, etc at bargain prices .. https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/usaview?_trksid=p2047675.l2563 I got a complete 4 carb set of jets, washers, etc for less than $20 delivered Good luck .... my 89 RC24 was in a similar state, squirrelman was a great help setting the carbs up
