  1. Cheers for this. Greatly appreciated. More stripping down this weekend to find the cause
  2. Thank you Terry. Didn't know that. I noticed today when I put the kick stand down whilst in first, it cut off. Makes sense now
  3. Today I had a spare half hour so I changed the left headlight bulb as it had blown. Thanks again you guys for help with that. 1. But I found 2 wires hanging from the left switch assembly and no idea what they are for. Everything on the switch works fine too. 2. Random cut ring terminals above the expansion tank 3. Need a cowling for the Speedo assembly, is this something that can be gotten with out the clocks? 4. Is there anywhere to get a full set of fairing bolts with rubber washers or is it best just to make something up. I'd like them all matching as I go through this bike piece by piece and make it right. 5. Looks like old oil all over the sump but couldn't see any leaks anywhere. Is there a 'normal' place to look for oil leaks on these babies? Thank you again for any responses. I just made 1 post instead of 4/5 as not to clog up the thread feed with my questions
  4. I'm glad to announce it was a blown bulb and no adjustments to h4 bulbs required 😁 Thank you to everyone that commented. You're awesome
  5. Thank you for these replies. I will get the bulb out tonight and have a look. My last bike was a 2002 Yamaha Fazer and it only had 1 headlight bulb and had a conversion kit fitted. I'm useless when it comes to electrics but I'll definitely check the bulb. Where would I find a relay for headlights it it were to have one. @fabio222mines UK spec too buddy
  6. On my 4th gen I'd like to have 2 headlights instead of one. Is this an easy modification to carry out and would the electrics handle it also having 2 bulbs on the 1 line? Thank you for any help here
  7. I need a bigger shed to store all the panniers and this racking 😉
  8. Looking to get fairings off this weekend and give her a good clean, then lots more photos
  9. On Friday I bought this 1993 vfr 750. Unbeknown to me, it's a 4th gen 93. I love the sound of that V4 singing And the raspberry pearl black is perfect to me.
