  2. Loosen the 1 bolt holding the handlebar on. Remove the bar from the fork, slide the tube off the bar. No need to undo cable ends.

  3. My best pal and me got interviewed for an article in a classic mc magazine at some time in the future. Here some of the money shots 🙂 But first a V4 on commuting duty piccie to fool the mods! Are they gone? OK! I hope @muff is still keeping ok..... Pals since 1972....

  4. It's usually the plug connector itself that is the culprit. They get dirty / corroded, the resistance goes up, and therefore the heat does too and it starts deteriorating. Then it's a viscous cycle until the plug completely melts. Just get a variety pack of solder seal connectors. They are handy to have if you're not a good solderer, and better than a plain crimp butt connector. The best is a true soldered connection on the three yellow wires.

  5. Another beautiful local ride (five actually!) over the long weekend. There's so much to explore near Charlotte without ever being in the city or traffic.
