Member Contributer digitallyhip Posted November 11, 2014 Member Contributer Share Posted November 11, 2014 Had a lovely but brisk ride today, and the bike reached the (metric) half century. Anyone can do 50,000. But one less? That's something!
Member Contributer GP Paul Posted November 13, 2014 Member Contributer Share Posted November 13, 2014 I just wanna know how you got the sun to shine at 1:50 am! Just kidding. Congrats on the milestone.

Member Contributer Dustin Posted November 13, 2014 Member Contributer Share Posted November 13, 2014 Went for a spirited ride up to Squamish yesterday. Temperatures are just a tick above freezing but it's dry and sunny -- can't complain! Will roll over 70,000 km on the 2002 by December
Veefer800Canuck
My truck, in Red Deer on the weekend. I saw bikes out like 2 days prior to this and it was +17c then.

voiceoffire
Lucky bugger, David. It's minus 18 here today and about 5-10 cm of snow. Squamish? The only thing I had running with two wheels and a motor was my snowblower. sigh.... Gotta love Calgary
TimC
Congrats on the half-century mark! We don't have snow yet near Akron, OH, though they're getting it just north in Cleveland today. I might be done for the year, but I'm still hoping for a few days in the 40sF when I can ride just a bit more. I always figure any riding I do in Nov. or Dec. is a bonus. VFR4Lee
I always figure any riding I do in Nov. or Dec. is a bonus. I figure riding on New years day is my God given right. On the theory God likes the Rose parade. The weathers almost always good for that, right? So, I go ride, but not in Pasadena.

Member Contributer digitallyhip Posted November 14, 2014 Author Member Contributer Share Posted November 14, 2014 Thanks everyone! I guess I do live in the Land of the Midnight Sun, GP Paul! Yes, it was Squamish. Brisk, but a lovely day to get out, and it just got colder as the week went on.
