Just make sure you get the smaller pin. The bigger pin for the Speed Triple won't work on the VFR (i used to have S3 so I know from experience) It's a good stand for a decent price. That makes it old enough to marry in many states, and it is in great shape. And yes, even if you are a fat@$$ like myself, you can sit on your bike when it is up on a pitbull (I have been over 220 pounds since '95). I have a knock-off or two, as well, and they work fine. If it is a choice of 'really don't have 150+ for the pitbull, buy the knock off. The abba stand looks interesting but its pricetag in pounds plus the likely shipping costs to get it to the US are prohibitive. Thanks for the suggestion, though! The front stand works well (almost no assembly). The rear stand had some bolt hole alignment issues, which made it slightly less functional. Guest Posted May 12, 2012 Share Posted May 12, 2012 Get a PitBull. Search local Craigslist for Triumph, Ducati, Honda Pitbull... If lucky you can find one for a VFR, chances are that you will find a Ducati stand then need to get the VFR pin. But a Pitbull for around 100.00 is absolutely worth it.
