Forum CEO HispanicSlammer Posted December 13, 2006 Forum CEO Share Posted December 13, 2006 Craig Looks out over the horizon - Grand Mesa Dan, Craig, and I headed west to Utah for the races at Miller Motor sports Park last Summer, heading through the Grand Junction area along the way. This report spans two days of riding over the Grand Mesa, overnighting in Fruita, and up early in the morning to view the Colorado National Monument. Two VFRS All three of our bikes it was cold up there! 11k feet in Elevation The Colorado River Colorado National Monument One of the many mesa tops in the area Dan getting a great shot of the valley below THE MAP The area is a junction of the Gunnison River, and the Colorado River surrounded by some of the best scenery in the western slope of the State Of Colorado and Utah *pronounced UTTTT - AYYYYY  Map The Terrain THE VIDEO Video Preview :media: Colorado National Monument Video - Runs for 4 minutes, music by Sarah McLachlan "Fallen" in wmv format at 1.5 mb/sec sample rate. Enjoy - we did! We had a great week riding out to Utah and back visiting some of the best roads in the country, Colorado National Monument is twisty but too pretty to hit too hard, its a normally a toll road but we managed to talk the park ranger into letting us on through since the park wasn't actually open, once we spotted his BMW RS we knew why!!! Craig is silhouetted in the tunnel Coming to the end of the park We rode 141 later and headed west over Lasalle Pass into Utah, all the way to Park City that day! Attached are the streets and trips file and Google Earth satalite file of the terrain

Hobie1dog
Great video AGAIN.....you will tide us over through the winter with these things. :media: Now you just need to upgrade to a High Definition Camcorder for us big-screen fanatics. It would look great on the 110" diagonal.
