One thing to keep in mind with the header is the header exit, where it mounts to the splitter pipe, is the same diameter as the stock pipe with gasket. In other words, if you were using the stock mufflers they would slip-fit over the header without a gasket. The problem is some of the aftermarket slip-ons are designed to slip-fit over the stock exhaust without the gasket. In other words, the outer diameter of the header exit is the same diameter as the entrance to the splitter pipe and the splitter won't slide over the header. I'm pretty sure this was brought up somewhere in the thread on the header build, but I figured I'd bring it up again. I bought a Black Widow system and ran into this problem. I used an expander to expand the end of the Balck Widow system just enough to slide over the header, it was somewhat of a PITA! Then I used a lap joint band clamp to tighten the splitter pipe to the header. The Balck Widow systems appears to be well built.
