  1. It sounds like air in the system but I'm not sure how it got in? I'd just go ahead and go through the bleed procedure and see if that clears it up.
  2. When you activate the front brake does the rear work at all?
  3. I have two sets, left and rights decals, of NOS Honda tank decals for a 92 VFR750. $40 per set plus shipping. Thanks!
  4. The forks looks awesome! Thanks for sharing, yeah everything I tried was to bright and cheap looking. I never thought to look at wheel paints.
  5. Hi, if you don't mind sharing, what color lacquer did use on the aluminum parts? Everything I've tried is too bright. Thanks
  6. Thanks yeah, it's in pretty nice shape. I bought it from a friend who bought it from the original owner. The right side looks good too, the fairing is in great shape just needs to be polished up. I've got a few things I'm working on but hope to get on this one soon.
  7. Looks good, great job! I'm following with interest, since I've got one in the que.
  8. I'm very sorry to hear this! My heart goes out to his family and friends.
  9. Thanks, I appreciate the reply. That's the same situation with the 86-87 VFR too, from what I recall.
  10. Hello Does anyone know what differences there are between a 92 VFR California fuel tank and a 49 state tank? They have different part numbers. What I really want to know is if the California tank can be used on a 49 state VFR? Thanks, Kevin
  11. Hey Darryl I sent you a PM, I'll take one of the 5th gen headers off your hands. Should I send the deposit to SF or pay you. Thanks!
  12. Hi, they are like $5.00 US. I picked mine up at Home Depot, in the plumbing section, but Amazon has them too.
  13. Nice write up thanks. Unfortunately I have three tanks sitting in my garage that need the rust removed. Oatey makes plugs in different diameters. I think it's the 1.5 inch plug that fits the filler hole.
  14. One thing to keep in mind with the header is the header exit, where it mounts to the splitter pipe, is the same diameter as the stock pipe with gasket. In other words, if you were using the stock mufflers they would slip-fit over the header without a gasket. The problem is some of the aftermarket slip-ons are designed to slip-fit over the stock exhaust without the gasket. In other words, the outer diameter of the header exit is the same diameter as the entrance to the splitter pipe and the splitter won't slide over the header. I'm pretty sure this was brought up somewhere in the thread on the header build, but I figured I'd bring it up again. I bought a Black Widow system and ran into this problem. I used an expander to expand the end of the Balck Widow system just enough to slide over the header, it was somewhat of a PITA! Then I used a lap joint band clamp to tighten the splitter pipe to the header. The Balck Widow systems appears to be well built.

  19. Hello all I'm trying to get a group order for center stand stops from SEBSPEED. If you are interested go to my post. Thanks!
  20. I sent a deposit for a 5th/6th gen header a couple of weeks ago but haven't heard anything. Does anyone know how many deposits are in for that pipe. If it would help I'd take an 8th gen pipe with 6th gen compatibility. What's the difference between a 5th/6th gen pipe and the 8th gen with 6th gen compatibility. Thanks
