  1. I'll have to look it up but it's some backwoods road in Tennessee that Jay and I were on last year at TMac. I took a wrong turn as usual but it made for an interesting shot. And yes that was Jay.
  2. That's hilarious!! It was a good trip for sure. :fing02:
  3. Great sunset shot. I could have had one like that on my ride home when the rain cleared for fifteen minutes but I couldn't get out of the trees in time. And I'm not sure about this whoop ass thing as slow as I was going....ha! Fantastic ride no doubt! HS is right...Kevin is an awsome guy and I do appreciate him allowing me to stay at his place even though he didn't really know me. Maybe next time he'll let me sleep in the house instead of the carport. ;p
  4. You should be ashamed of yourself violating Minnie like that!!!
  5. I just got this visual of you two cruising down the highway holding his throttle with your left hand while Trav is kicked back with his feet up! :idea3:
  6. HOLY BAT CRAP BATMAN!!! Are you guys going to Alaska or North Carolina? :goofy:  The fun part about these trips is learning what you really need and what you don't. A heavy tail pack doesn't bother me any but occasionally the saddlebags throw me off a little when really pushing the curves. Just make sure you've got everything strapped down tight cause you don't want to be stopping all the time to readjust your luggage. Is it time to go yet??
  7. Hadn't thought about hot glue on the bag. Good idea! I'm currently not using the audio on mine. I've got an led unit from Marc Parnes which works well. I just recently pulled my detector out of the fairing so I could take the bike in for the recall and it's still in good shape after several thousand miles. I cable tied it to the computer on the right side(6th Gen) and used a ziploc bag for weather protection. No tickets yet. Looks good Miguel but if you add anything else to that bike you'll need to buy a trailer.
  8. I like it!! Did you spray it or powder coat it. Considered blue radiators too??
  9. Looks good! The black radiators really make a difference.
  10. Even if I could scratch up that much dough, I'd have a hard time picking a color.
  11. I replaced those annoying clips with three of the same clips that hold down the battery cover on the other side. You have to drill out the holes a bit on the cover and the tabs on the bike. For me I just pop the front clip and the top clip and leave the back one "locked" so the cover just spins up and back out of the way. That space has certainly come in handy.
  12. Ya fergot Mobil MX4T That would probably still fall under Mobil 1 and I guess its Racing 4T now. That's what I'm currently using. Been buying it at OReilley's.
  13. So does anybody send in used oil samples to a lab for analysis? I guess I'm a bit on the lazy side because I opted for the Mobil1 just so I wouldn't have to change the oil as often.
  14. LMFAO! Like the others mentioned, I'd pass on the seat cowl mount and go for Ken's rack or something like Riv mentioned with just mounting it to one of the grab handles. Bullet cam would be ideal too. I also would pass on the Oregon Scientific and put that money towards something better. It's not a horrible camera but is very succeptible to vibrations which make for a really poor image. You might snoop around your local photo shop for quick-release mounts and/or heads to mount the camera to. Lot's of options there. One Example
