THat right side location was where I found the oem tool kit, after 3 years of ownership...... I had bought one as I thought my bike didn't come with one. I've heard that others have found their tool kits there as well.

Can anyone tell me what the numbers on the spring that my used Ohlins Rear shock came with, mean: 01092-74/180 L162 Additionally - I'd like to know these numbers on an additional spring I have, mean: 01092-69/170 L336 I've looked at the charts, and searched the web - but I'm stumped. Maybe I need some Eggnog....... Thanks!

Sasha's bike mods are finished, and he's on his way home. Viffer - I didn't see your post - so you'll have to get in touch with him. He has an 08 that he bought in the USA and brought over - and its a Silver I hadn't seen before. VERY VERY nice Silver...... Couple obligatory pics, (or Skuuter would get after me!!) :biggrin: Once again, Radars Sliders are a joy to install and are top notch quality.

Well- another set of Radars sliders are going in tonight. Teacherman (Sasha) is coming over shortly - and we're going to install the SLiders from Radar, and a Fender Elim from me.... Hope the beer holds out!!! See if I can take some pics along the way. :beer:

My Zumo 550 failed on me last week, and I was not impressed as I'd forgotten to bring the allen wrench to reset the battery. This afternoon I wrote an email to Garmin and am waiting their reply... Chev - that sucks about yours failing - sounds like a lot worse than my situation. ITs a great unit - but they need to figure out the no-start issue!!! :pissed:

Sorry for the minor hijack - but my Zumo 550 which is about 10 months old, is constantly not starting when I hit the power button. Talked to Garmin awhile back and they sent me a replacement battery. Problem still here. It starts sometimes - and not - MOST times. I have to carry an allen wrench with me to remove the battery which most times resets the Zumo to fire up. I forgot the allen key this last week on a business trip and I was FURIOUS when it wouldn't power up. I'm going to call Garmin tomorrow and pleasantly demand they take this $800 GPS back and send me a replacement...

Truth is - Darren (RADAR) is now racing in Superbike, hoping for a ride in Moto GP and he is more interested in chasing umbrellas girls than helping us protect our VFR's. Bastage. Hey - make us some more sliders!!! Oh yeah - Freddie called me - and said he had some words to describe your riding skills at his school - but he couldn't finish his sentence - he was giggling like a little school girl.............. :rolleyes:

I have corrected the weird symbols that appeared in the how to thread. Thanks Slammer for re-posting this in the featured area. I know Radar has several sets of Sliders left. ANyone in Ontario that wants to do this addition and wants some help - let me know. My flashlight is recharging right now.........
