  1. I think that there are some on fleabay. I have no experience with any. Probably worth a forum search here and on VFRworld.
  2. I would suggest looking around for an actual problem when you perform the service. It may be nothing more than "time." Clean and pube pivot points. Clean shaft. Check/flush system. It doesn't take much for them to feel bad.
  3. Have you serviced the clutch hydraulic circuit and actuator shaft on the slave?
  4. All of my bike have and have had adjustability which is located in the manual. No need to disassemble anything.
  5. It is all over when you have to match oil. Just sayin'. 🙂
  6. If you know the area where they lived, you probably don't have too many choices. I've called a few until I found the one. Just an idea.
  7. I would love to know how the pads would know.
  8. Also, you can call the dealer and ask for the service history. i've had excellent luck with that when I knew who the dealer was.
  9. Looks sharp, from a brutha from a different mutha. 🙂
  10. Welcome! Did you do a search on here or the Googles? There's a lot of info about the PAIR system and removing it. I've removed it from a few bikes in the last year and it really made some space!
  11. FJ valve adjustment is easy! Do you have the proper tool? I set exhaust on the open end of spec and intake on the tighter end of spec so they have plenty of room to do their thing! https://www.ebay.com/itm/196214929965
  12. Were they factory/OEM hoses or aftermarket stainless? I'm curious...
  13. Magnificent color. Be sure to check/upgrade the charging system before you take off. Plenty of clear info on this forum and VFRworld.
  14. Buy the cheapest color of a helmet you like and have it painted.
  15. The damper likely masked something...but didn't fix it. Diagnosis is in order, for sure.
  16. Looks like an interesting project. 1/2" shock length addition is...a lot.
  17. It seems unlikely that a lose connection would do that. More like a power wire grounding out. My $.02, certainly worth less.
  18. Have any of you used the Velcro wrist wrap mount on the bike (not your wrist)? It seems like an easy way to attach it to a rear peg mount, rear luggage handle, or a few other places. It provides the opportunity to mounting various place on multiple bikes without buying a ton of stuff.
  19. Looks handy for when you do a good job. 🙂
  20. I got a few pics off of VFRworld but am hoping for some additional suggestions for locations on my 5th gens. Being able to plug them in instead of change batteries would be a bonus. I have a 3M GoPro base on the front fairing just under the windscreen. While it works well, it is a PITA to use, as I can't see the red light when it is recording or not and the buttons are hard to access without standing up and reaching over. I want some options that aren't behind/through the windscreen. This thread gave me some ideas. Wondering is something could go on the mirror mount: https://www.amazon.com/Aluminum-Motorcycle-Rearview-Mirror-Cameras/dp/B081ST38PL Or maybe the brake/clutch master like in the pic n a prior post in this thread. What are you guys using on your 5th gens?
  21. Same here. We're going out for a few days right after the rally. 80F every day and nice out.
  22. Apparently, I've been posting on some other thread for the same event. Not sure why there are two.
  23. I have a generator, but that doesn't mean I want to leave the power out on my house. lol I'm weather watching also...despite having good wet weather gear. I posted a few notes on the ride post but got crickets. Not too excited to be drenched for four days on superb roads I can't zip along on. It is a lot of $ for less than perfect riding. Sadly, Monday-Wednesday are looking excellent! Guess that's how it goes. I'm making the call tomorrow. Is there any way to see who will be there each day?
  24. Have a really good look for fluid with a flashlight before you ride it. Nice job!
