Well I bet you are pretty excited. One thing for sure is you should be commended for being an early adopter of this new tech. I hope I end up eating my hat...

That is the text I was trying to recall from memory (not a good one obviously). So it's 121 miles @ 19 mph average. I just know that with other bikes and cars that I've owned, the numbers quoted are usually very optimistic and don't correlate well to the real world. I will be waiting to see how you do. How long until your new bike is delivered?
One other number I quoted incorrectly however, is for the R version you say you are getting, it's more like $19k instead of $16k. Man, that would get me a Panigale wouldn't it?
Don't take this as dismissing your choice of bike, but if you come back here with real world world experience of 120 mile range I will eat my hat. If you look at their specs it says up to 100 miles in urban riding that they define as averaging 19 mph...

I'm sure your application for this bike works for you, but for me I could never get my head around a $16k + bike that I could only ride for 50-75 miles at a time...
There are benefits to being short and having small appendages! My size 8 feet are easily tucked in, but I like to have the ball of my feet on the pegs...makes me feel like I have more control. When I'm droning on the slab I have to remind myself to move my feet up on the pegs to give my knees a little break...
Cool shots BTW!
So is this the correct one to order to replace the tail lights and brake lights on my 2004?

A lot of information on oil filters here if you've never read it: http://motorcycleinfo.calsci.com/FilterXRef.html And he is not big on K&N. You don't have to burn your knuckles if you just crack loose the filter while the engine is cold and then run it up to temp. Never had a leak or problem getting the filter off that way...
I'm not quite understanding "160 miles" and "463 miles"... Are you for real?
Without making disparaging remarks, if the bike was mine and I wanted the recall done, and 163 miles was "a good long ride" to me, I would plan for the ride (call ahead to dealer and arrange service to be done in one day, hopefully in a half day), and make it happen! Take a picnic lunch!
Well, maybe, but my neat freak side is jealous of the bike in the photos. Thanks for the great how to...
Can you do one for removing the front end? LOL...I'm kidding but not really. Getting ready to take apart my front end and send in forks to be upgraded. My first time doing it...ever, on any bike. I'm sure to bork it up somehow!
Of course Rotella T is not the same as the fully synthetic T6 that I like to use, but a good bargain. Walmart has it for $12.97 a gallon, so Sam's membership not required for the same deal...
Did you see the T6 at Sam's?
