    2014!

  2. I did this recently, love it. The biggest difference is improving the flat spot before hyperdive.
  3. Maybe 10min and I was taking my time. The process is stupid simple- 1 Loosen pinch bolt 2 move tire forward 3 remove chain 4 remove sprocket Then work your way back to step 1 but opposite lol -Drew
  4. I am so pleased with this modification that I decided to make a dedicated thread. Something so small has made the bike so much more enjoyable to ride around town! It used to feel sluggish and bogged down below Vtech with long pulls over 7k. After the +2, it surges with the throttle at any RPM and rips through vtech just begging for the next gear. I can actually get a good pull in 5th+6th rather than pulling 3rd/4th and watching the needle stop in 5th. Low speed maneuvering is easier, the clutch is very user friendly and I find that it doesn't surge as much when rolling slowly through the neighborhood. My commute has no highway, and my daytrips usually have short stints of highway taking me to the fun roads so I can live with the wrung out rpms on the highway for the time being. I recommend the upgrade to anybody wanting a little more sport and a little less touring on the 6th gen. -Drew
  5. I took a quick spin around the block today with the +2 rear and will be keeping it to say the least. I agree with MisterBill here- its much more ridable! Before I felt like under 7krpm was just the boring wait for the 7+ surge but now I can mob around town below 7k and still get good acceleration and enjoyment. Its much easier going from a stop, and I actually thought it was easier rev matching downshifting while trial braking. -Drew
  6. I am a very spirited rider- I just ordered a 45T rear to accompany my OEM 16T front I'll report back once I take it for a spin. -Drew

  8. I have a rigged set up using GoPro adhesive mounts so that I can install/remove my Galaxy S4 from just under my windshield. I've found that as long as I use the phone as the "brain" of the ride I can have everything right in front of me on the fly (including navigation, music, speed, altitude, compass, average total speed, average moving speed, top speed hold, total trip distance as well as total trip time). When I have a chance I'll take a picture for you. -Drew

    VFR SF 1

Wow. This is a stunning piece of art- the attention to detail is top notch and it works great with the SF theme without being overdone. I hope to make a similar machine some day. -Drew

  13. You are an idiot. Did you read anything. The bike has a problem. I very clearly stated the point that I stopped reading. -Drew
