  1. I have an 07 and use that same MAP. My bike loves it. Only problem I had with the MAP was starting out at a stoplight or from a dead stop somewhere. It would stall out on me a lot due to some -fuel numbers there. I was going to add back the fuel but decided to just gas it a tad more from a stop - start. Other than that, bike runs fine iwth it. Sorry I couldnt be of more help.
  2. I hear ya on that price tag. If I only knew then what I knew now hehe. The Snapon guy who came around twice a week at the shop I worked in at the time had em on the truck so it was easy at the time to just slap it on a Truck Account and go for it. But that would have been a great alternative to what I bought.
  3. Love them little gadgets. The two I use are from Power Probe. I use the PPIII and the ECT (Electronic Circuit Tester). I have had them now for a bit and they have yet to fail me. Can be rough if going around metal like trunks and door panels, but if you are patient and move slowly you can trace exactly where you need to go.
  4. Olive you be safe riding out there in all that mess. Love the reports but would rather NOT get a report of you getting hurt.
  5. I know I am going to catch a lot of flak around here, but I have never been a sheep so... who cares. Where in the original post did it say anything about a Harley? Yeah I ride a Harley. So I guess based on your rediculous assumptions I must never ride with a Helmet on or use my front brakes either. Rider education my friend, is not just limited to what you learn in a MSF class. I don't care how long you have been riding, you seem to have a lot to learn. Reminds me of the retards on the Harley forums who bash Sportbike riders. You all are ALL equally FUBAR, you just ride different bikes. Food for thought. So what type of helmet and gear do you wear on your Harley? I have different sets of gear. Mind you I am in Iraq right now so pulling up the exact model of gear will be rather difficult. For starters, I have two sets of footgear. I have a pair of Sidi boots/shoes that I ride on my Honda. I have two sets (Brown pair and black pair) of genereic leather riding boots for my Harley. I wear Kevlar reinforced jeans with the underarmor kevlar mesh for pants, and i use them cushion type shorts that i got from motorcyce superstore. i dont have any different pants for my Honda. I have two types of jackets. One is a mesh type jacket and the other is a thicker winter jacket. both have armor and both are from tourmaster. I can upload some pics of the jackets i took before i left. I have a pair of tourmaster leather gloves for summer and a pair for winter. none are the fancy racing type. they offer up just basic protection. my helmet is silver type combo deal, like the one the dude wore on Biker Boyz. It flips up from a full face to an open face. SO i can convert it to a full face on my honda, and convert it to a 3/4 helmet when on the harley. it also as one of them kind of cool flip down tinted visors so I can wear my prescription glasses while driving and not have to worry about sunglasses until i get off the bike. actually scratch that, i had to edit cause i looked at the pics. my mesh jacket is a fieldshear, got it on sale. the thick one is a tourmaster. my winter gloves are the dual thick ass harley gloves. warmest gloves i have ever worn.

  10. He was trying to make a joke that you would only need to buy Black and White film for your camera. Glad you went with that color! Can't wait to see the pics.
  11. Besides cleaning, I think the combo looks great. Remember: in the end it is all about what YOU want. I say go for it, if you don't mind the extra effort to keep the rims clean.
  12. Wowzerz.. where is this at? :laughing6-hehe:

  20. I guess you can take this a step further and ask... "Do you still have your first bike?" In my case, that answer is no and I wish I did have it. I looked up the guy on Ebay who I sold it to a few years ago and he never responded to my inquiries.
  21. Suzuki Marauder 800 and then came the 07 RWB.
