Volfy
LOL... there is gotta be a good story behind the US gallon. Maybe something about the colonialists pulling a fast one on the Brits.

SurfaceTensioN
Driving around town in Denver Colorado I get 35 - 40 mpg. Cruising on the highway or the two lane roads in the mountains I average 50 mpg. Just to be safe while cruising at high altitude plan on getting gas every 200 miles and you'll be good. Ron Thanks Ron. That's what I'm seeing too. Weather permitting I'm headed over to the Western Slope mid-week. I've been getting the MPG's you say and it's good to have you confirm. I'm doing some of the Gateway/moab area and need to be solid on 150 miles.
WGREGT
My usual commute is just over 15 mile. Always over 38 mpg. The fuel guage starts flashing at about 135 miles. Filling at 185 prevents any worries. And you're at....$7 a gallon in HI now?
