gripnrip
Hi everyone. I just recently purchased my first VFR, a 3rd gen with approximately 45K miles. I'm currently doing some maintenance (oil change, checking valves, cleaning carbs, etc.). I will post a pic when I get it put back together. The bike is cosmetically challenged but runs great. I'm looking forward to learning from and hopefully contributing to this site.

gripnrip
Here she is. Finally got everything put back together after waiting forever for parts. Still working out some carbs issues but overall she's running decent.

Beck
Looks fantastic! First mod to consider would be a proper rear "fenderectomy"..... and if the Regulator/Rectifier is still original, seriously consider replacing it asap. Plus I think you might still be missing the liitle piece of fairing that mounts on to the sidestand...... A 3rd gen without that and the rear seat cowl you can take on and off is not complete. Member Contributer Cogswell Posted February 21, 2015 Member Contributer Share Posted February 21, 2015 Very nice. It's begging pleading with you for an after-market exhaust! It will turn heads everywhere you go . . .
Member Contributer ChasingNolan Posted February 21, 2015 Member Contributer Share Posted February 21, 2015 Welcome from across the river! That's a nice looking machine. I don't see very many 3rd gens around this area very often.
