tobyfleming
Hello, I'm looking for a heated chair for when it gets cold because I can't stand the cold weather. Does anyone have experience with heated seats? I've heard about corbin but haven't learned much about it. Any suggestions?
Member Contributer Mohawk Posted October 11, 2023 Member Contributer Share Posted October 11, 2023 You can make your own very easily. If you buy a replacement seat cover plus a couple of small or one large heat pad, then fit the pad(s) where they best fit your butt heating requirements & add the new seat cover. Add an on/off switch &/or a temperature controller & job done. I use heated under clothing which is great & can be used on any bike just add a connector for the gear. Works best with a temp controller as anything more than 2/3rds heat on my Gerbing suit is too much even at 90mph on sub-zero dry days. Member Contributer VifferJ Posted October 11, 2023 Member Contributer Share Posted October 11, 2023 Sargent built a heated seat for my gen8 Viffer about 5 years ago, I had to send them the oem seats and they re-used those pans. It's a great seat and haven't had any issues, the heat controller you can see in this pic where I mounted it on the left, the rectangle shape controller is about the size of a box of tic-tacs. Do they even still make tic-tacs, I think I just dated myself lol...
