I use Mobil one 15w-50 fully synthetic (not motorcycle specific) in the VFR. I use Mobil One Racing 4T, 10w-40 fully synthetic in the CBR since it sees more high rpm use. Motorcycle Oil

In reference to moving the velocity stacks......this can have a profound effect on engine perfomance as the length / diameter of the stacks affect intake air flow speed. Taller / narrower increase speed and shorter / wider reduce the speed.

Beutiful shot!!! Love the scenery and the bike looks great too. I usually make it out west once a year to snow ski, but would love to ride in the mountains and take some beautiful pictures. Plan on doing that some day. :wheel: -
As said before....return the bike to stock and begin your troubleshooting there. I would leave the Staintunes on as they probably have nothing to do with your problem. Who knows, returning it to stock may cure the issue. Good luck. I have an '03 and other than the Staintunes and a Sargent seat it is stock. No problems in 23,000 miles.

Guy running the parts counter at my local Honda dealer was recently fired after they found out he was stealing parts and selling them on Ebay. The owner is prosecuting to the full extent of the law as this punk made off with a lot of goods over a period of time. Slammer.......that is a lot of miles and a good testimonial to the durability of the VFR. :thumbsup: -

Nice place.............I spent two weeks in Cyprus back in 1997. The people were wonderful and the food was very good. Visited the birthplace of Aphrodite, Cavo Greco, Ayia Napa beach and Kykos in the Troodos mountains, and made some new friends. -
Looks like a great trip. Did you get to ride the Cherahola Skyway?? It is just a few minutes from the Dragon at Deal's gap. -
