Utah 24 through Capital Reef NP, east of Torrey, is one of my favourite roads. Last went through there in '12, dodging heavy showers and the resulting flash flood (thankfully minor) at one point on the road. -
At first I thought it might be looking back on Ca130 from Mt Hamilton. In any case, it looks like a great road. -
Kel, that has to be my favourite of all the custom VF/VFRs at VFRD. And there are a lot of talented builders here. -

Colour me jealous that your fall wx is so lovely. I am curios about the location. It reminds me of San Luis reservoir - I've ridden past it many times to Laguna Seca. -

Thanks, John. I was surprised to see that the VTEC used a 16T sprocket and the 5th gen. 800 used a 17T. Then I remembered that one of the changes to the VTEC series was to the transmission gearing. Sure enough, the service manuals show that the VTEC has marginally lower gearing in 3rd through 6th. The result being near identical mph/1000 rpm in top gear. Nice to know that I could swap a 17T into my VTEC and reduces revs on the highway.

What a beautiful view. I've only had the chance to ride up Mt Hamilton once but would love to return. Btw, your shot is near identical to mine from back in '99. Hope the pavement is a bit smoother. -

What a lovely photo, it really evokes that feeling you get at the end of a good day's ride. I took the liberty of lightening the shadows, hope you don't mind. -

California's Highway 49 has some terrific stretches, especially this part just north of Bear Valley (I think). And it is surrounded by plenty of other great roads. -
It's a lovely addition to your tricolore. Those are embossed, right? If they are like other Honda graphics they came with an alignment guide. -
It reminded me of the late '80's CBR1000F and a little snooping on the old interweb soon turned up this: -
