Didn't Haslam blow up his racebike, then went and bought a brand new VFR off the showroom floor, just to have something to race? Oh and the names, Reuben McMurter, John Ashmead, Steve Parrish, Kevin Schwantz, Fred Merkel, etc..... And Barry Sheene in the commentary box! -

Looks like the angles are all wrong.

If you had the axle and wheel, I imagine everything else will be standard VFR800 stuff. -

Nice work on the filler cap! You will need a solution for the rear brakes. CBR600 F4i rear master cylinder, and hook up all 3 rear pistons on the VFR to the CBR master cylinder, after removing all the LBS plumbing and proportioning valve. -

You might consider using a set of risers and superbike bars instead of clipons. That gives you room to adjust the forks up and down as needed if you are using the gullwing upper triple. -

I'd have to go look on the bike, I can't remember right now. CBR1000 coil subharness pics from Ebay: Seems to be that the right one as viewed from the clip facing up is ground.
