  1. At least it wasn't a, "fart pipe". Alien, Did you bead blast the pipes, prior to paint? To be honest, it will prolly chip and flake. If you blast the whole sha-bang, you can prolly have the tips nickel plated cheap, then ceramic coat the rest.
  2. Glad you will heal. Motorcycle riding is somewhat contrary to long life. So is gett'n out of bed, every morning. But what is life, if you don't live?
  3. Thanks, again, Ken. Good work. Nice choice for tunes, too. :fing02: Did you enjoy, "The Dark Knight"? I Laughed through almost the whole thing. Folks at the theater, thought I was Psycho. They were almost right. LOL.
  4. That was sweet, Ken. Now I can be called a video whore, too! There are ways to do this. Shoot for Movie Maker first. Most any burning software, will convert it. Nero has some tricks to manipulate © -dt material, but I will not post it on the internet. (Keep in mind, for DVD, any conversions should be done to MPEG2).
  5. Yah. I Did VipeRon's, by removing the dogbone, triangle bracket, and the tire.
  6. Do that first, open with WM 9 or (and, WM1), through "quicktimealt". Tools an editor MUST HAVE!
  7. Veedub will also capture video inputs. Good program. Install this first. Regardless,.... http://www.codecguide.com/klcp_64bit.htm
  8. 1) GET IT OFF THE BIKE! You WILL destroy it. Nero is way less buggy. Let me know, I can hook you up, my friend. Signed, Mr. video.
  9. http://www.vfrdiscussion.com/forum/index.p...c=31120&hl= Hate that format,..... Change it back, H.S.! LOL. I See you.
  10. Murder is not really a bad thing,.......

  11. Didn't post in your thread, BUT, Nice bike! Glad you are healing, to a relative state.

Hells yes Ol'man. Here is a photo of our No-mar in action! I can mount and balance in 15 minutes. LOL.The arrow goes which way? LOL. ZING! Ran my'n over, with the truck, to brake the bead. The first time, I had heard of that, I flipped. BUT, if you are in total zen, it is tops.
  13. Look sweet! "Sweet as he!!,... dig yourself, baby,..." From this thread? http://www.vfrdiscussion.com/forum/index.p...c=41412&hl=

    heading out.jpg

Surprised to see this pic on the home page! This was 3 years ago, heading down to Mid Ohio superbike races. 3 days worth of gear in that tank bag! My friend Adam and his R1100s. Trav, tried to get him to throw it in the trailer for tmac this year, but he had just sold the bike!! -- Jeff LOL. D-oh! (Thought it was Tom, at the time[check comment date]). I've seen him logged in, but to no posts. Months later, I still love this pic!
  15. LOL. Yah. Maybe he should try it as a knee brace. LOL. Pretty cool, Will.
  16. Got a bit over 6,000 miles on mine, but I moved up to Corsa III's. All that much better.
  17. Good stuff Canuk! Again, JMHO, without a large jump in HP, seems to me to be splitt'n hairs. (LOL. 90% of you folks could out ride ME, on a 68 hp bike, anyway). My bag. I brought the riding crop. LOL. Who has the whip? Sorry to go so far off topic. I did have mine off. Put it back on. It was a little rougher, lowend. I'm sure it could have been fixed with a P.C., but at the time, I didn't have one. Now, I poop before I ride.
  18. LOL. And that is your only mod. LOL. Give or take all of the variables, I would put a + 15 hp, to a +or- 7Hp. Sooooo, I say, it is all subjective,... again. (Unless you're Toro or Jason). LOL. I need to have my'n done. Willing to bet, I'm within 2 ponies, of 'ya.
  19. Well,.......... That depends. From what I've seen,.... It seems subjective. A) Removing it, I don't believe will hurt. The ECU, should be able to handle the change, without it going outside of any perameters. B) I believe it is there to deter any forced induction. (Not that a lot of air is going to be forced into that area, with the frame, in the way). C) You may want to grill it, as it would be that much more intising for critters to make it a home. If you like the noise, roll with it. So far,....I've never seen a H.P. diff. And no one has been able to prove there really is.
  20. shouldn't have any problems, but I would do both.
  21. You can, but it may open you up to water in the cans. I say, Weld a larger dia., tube, in there.
  22. Yes, I installed as per directions. I think the "problem" is two fold. First, Helibar recently changed the design to gain an extra 1/4 inch, which is really what I'm after (I'm 6'4"). Second my VFR as ABS which adds a lot of plumbing that the clutch line has to run under by the steering head which makes it a inch or two shorter. Not familiar with the new set-up,...and sorry, don't know the length. Just a suggestion, ( Helped me, to be more at ease, with "equal slack"), but,... can you draw some slack out, from under the bodywork, at all?
  23. 323,899 + 2,385 = 326,282. This is my last entry, for the year.
  24.
