  1. Imma comin! Taking off and heading straight to 341. Hoping to meet you guys there.
  2. Am I still invited?
  3. Sounds alot like something I said once...
  4. Can I bring this?
  5. That's the flapper, bro. Go in, remove all things flapper, then it will be gone. The air box is very noisy on the 6th gen, but I am 100% sure that is the flapper "gulping". Once I removed the valve, lines, yada yada the sound went away for me.
  6. I'm sure CandyRed will post about his mods, which are numerous like unto the sands of the sea, but there are easy ways. Google search evap cannister removal, PAIR system removal, a light weight battery would help, you already have an aftermarket exhaust. Brake de-link is a little more in depth, and may or may not be worth it. Newer bikes even have linked brakes, cause they work pretty well, but it's your call. Things get pricey after that.
  7. Watch out, you got some liberal showing.
  8. Those who don't go on VFRW just recently missed the "Sunofwolf" era. Those who know, know. Those who don't, consider yourselves lucky.
  9. 94-97 VFR's run very cool, and the temp gauges are pessimistic. I replaced my thermostat when I first got my 95, but to my dismay, found that the temp needle didn't do anything different than before. Feel the hoses that run to the radiator when first starting up, and if they get warm with the engine, then you may need a new thermostat. Also, it's worth noting that thermostat replacement means pulling carbs, but if your lucky enough to have already removed the chrome PAIR injection lines, removal could be facilitated just by removing the right fairing. Albeit, it won't be fun, still.
  10. Dutch, It's worth it. My bike felt much more poised and never wallowed anymore. Plus, with the adjustability, you can make it as firm or soft. It's a quite a bit of quid, but knowing how much you ride, I would say absolutely do it.
  11. It's a matter of geometry and weight distribution. Side stand is more stable.
  12. You can do whatever you want. But I can tell you you don't need either. Bike runs cool as it is.
  13. Honestly, I use both. I considered taking off my center stand, but it has many uses. Weight is a non-issue, it's so low you wont ever notice a difference. It makes the bike 'slimmer' for the garage, and makes maintenance easier, especially when working on the left side of the bike. I do have front and rear T-Rex stands, because for in depth maintenance they are much more stable, and I don't feel comfortable raising the front wheel on just the centerstand. They also raise the bike higher. Oh, and the centerstand-being-more-stable-than-the-sidestand comment is rubbish. The triangle profile is much narrower, and is more prone to tipover.
  14. It was a tight fit (giggity), I had to force the inner one in. Try different brands. Just know when you find one that fits, your about 5 mins from glory. Giggity.
