  1. It may also be useful to weigh the bike with a scale under the front wheel and another under the back. It'll give you an idea if you're near 50/50.
  2. That rear case is hanging WAY off there! Wheelies must be easy...
  3. One is a rottweiler and the other is a...?
  4. Hi bmart, Thank you for your donation of 25.00 USD. We look forward to improving the forums with your donation. Thanks VFRDiscussion
  5. Looks like corrosion, grime...and maybe test the battery and charging system fully and properly.
  6. Very unusual. Congrats!" And please don't tell me that you have a can of tuna in the background! 😛
  7. Many options including Woodcraft. I'm running Helis on my '98 and have a set for the '00 that I haven't installed. yet. That has the set from Belarus...pre-war edition on it. Very tall may require rerouting or new hoses/cables. Ones that only lift won't let you alter the angles. Using the stock bars won't let you rotate the levers to the proper spot. They're all options, but full adjustable give you the most options. The Helis are a big improvement, but a far cry from perfect. Helpful?
  8. The D220 was great until the cupping!
  9. Looking forward to the pics and details!
  10. Which "you?" I rarely have fogging issues. They've pretty much solved that from early on saliva to later pinlock features and venting. Riding since the mid 80s and...including the 4 helmets in the cycle now, a lot of helmets. lol
  11. I thought that they were non removable. I may need to look into this...
  12. For me, tied for #1 are safety and comfort. Then venting/shield usage ease/clarity. Then ability to remove and clean interior. Then price point, although I always buy clearance. I wish that they'd make the soft bits around the strap removable for cleaning.
  13. Glad that you sorted it out. Love the charts. I use the same! I always set my exhaust on the larger side and intake on the smaller side, as they seem to wear in opposite directions. 🙂
  14. AGV makes great helmets, and in wildly different shapes by model! I left Shoei a few years back for the same reason. Pricing was outrageous. I ended up with HJC for street, track, adn dual sport helmets. The only real difference I notice is the shield isn't 100 crystal clear like the Shoei. There's an absolute quality difference with latches/vents, but I notice do difference in that they're both adequate, and I saved 50%-75%.
  15. It is funny that you type that. I feel similar to my GS700ES. I still think it is one of the more handsome motorcycles made to this day...but I may be alone! At least we're not off topic...
  16. Here in the states, you can't give those ZX7S bikes away. Just too many better choices available. That 600 will be just great. Congrats!
  17. Looks like assm #5, no? So many people lost the tool and use a screwdriver and hammer...or the wrong spanner. Humans...the worst. At least Starship was a big success this morning. That's not nothing.
  18. Service Honda shows the same. Interesting.
  19. I started with two riding buddies. All of us unskilled, untrained, and riding like idiots. One got a 600cc Fazer (mini V-max...in looks), one got a 500 Interceptor (not sure what year), and I got a GS700ES. I still love the looks of that bike (similar to my many FJs). I hated red then, too, so choices were somewhat limited. It was indeed a time of great mechanical progress. https://ridermagazine.com/2016/06/22/1986-yamaha-fzx700s-fazer-road-test-review/ https://www.rideapart.com/news/407636/honda-vf500f-interceptor-please-thankyou/ https://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/model/suzu/suzuki_gs700es 85.htm
