Wow Mike, the old girl sure has come a long way sense 2019ish. To you, rc and everybody that participated in this therapy project; thanks for all the help, comments, criticisms, advise and giftings along the way. I sure wish I could have rode with you guys but thank God you all took this journey with me. I think the bike runs and handles well, at least that's what my son tells me, and sense this the only VFR I've ever riden I would sure welcome an evaluation run from the Captain! (Whenever you can schedule that in...) As for the replicable skid pad...it got the bracket welded on there and then I realized 1/4 inch too short... drill and tap time! haha Too many memories to share for a two finger typer like myself. I hope I've preserved this bike to a point where it won't get pushed out back and let waste away. I hope when I'm dead and gone the family will look and smile at Grampa's old bike...

What a gorgeous bike, still gives me chill as the day I brought it home. Beat up a little now but still so fucking Hot! Thank you Captian80s, what a touch of class the In-Fill panels gave her...just can't express my gratitude... I have a stripe for the tank but as you can see the blue/white transition on the tank is way off location. So thats an expensive project for another day. Through the winter I'll try to make some turn signal mounts for the rear, the mounts on the grab rails were hacked off and my son was going to put some pointy LED things sticking out of the fender...!the holes are already drilled..! (I'm weeping inside right now) But hell no! I refuse to stick anything out of the fender! I'll make something, hell there's enough of my home made shit hanging off this thing. haha

When I get back home from my new job orientation, I’ll start to look into this again. Right now l’ll be heading home soon. My plane lands at 9PM tonight then I need to be up and on the road about 4:00A-4:30A to be on the road to Vegas to help get Lance’s stuff brought back to my place in Anaheim. Probably be beat as all get out on Sunday but once I get back to normal hours I’ll be sure to get back on this. Cheers, D
