Member Contributer Karbunkle Posted November 19, 2016 Member Contributer Posted November 19, 2016 Hi Guys and Gals, I know we are all a bunch of conscientious law-abiding citizens so I thought I would chuck up the link and summary PDF of the Australian Design Rules (ADR) in relation to motorcycles for my fellow Aussie compatriots. The summary provides a basic run down of the do's & don'ts and provides a list of the relevant ADR's to look at if further detail is required to be researched. Information is power after all and its good to know where you stand should the boys in blue or regulatory inspector start asking questions about your ride. https://infrastructure.gov.au/roads/motor/design/adr_online.aspx NCOP8_Section_LL_Motor-Cycles_and_3WheelVehicles_01Jan2011_v2.pdf Quote

Member Contributer thtanner Posted November 19, 2016 Member Contributer Posted November 19, 2016 ADR #1: A Staintune exhaust is required to be fitted at all times while the bike resides in AU ;) Apologies, haha. 1 Quote
Blazerdman Posted November 19, 2016 Posted November 19, 2016 To be honest every "run" in I've had with le popo they don't care that I have a loud exhaust. They only care if I was going 20km/h over the speed limit. Quote
keef Posted November 20, 2016 Posted November 20, 2016 I got told to put a baffle in my MT09 exhaust by a bike cop. Quote
