Really like 'DAM' but 2 Questions: Can you run them with panniers attached without burning underside of right-hand box? Do you still need to un-bolt/remove them to remove the rear wheel?

My DAM has not had any issues with the OEM panniers. There is a heat sheild underneath the right hand bag anyway that is there for the OEM exhaust. No issues at all.

No issues with the OEM panniers. As for wheel removal, just loosen the clamp and remove the anchor bolt on the passenger footpeg and rotate it out of the way. You may be able to finagle it out, but I don't want to bang up my can so I haven't tried.

Mine needs new tyres so I'll shortly be finding out if the rear wheel will come out past the Dam. I won't be trying too hard if it looks even slightly awkward though, don't want any scratches in my new shiny can.

No bruised knuckles then lads?

Vast improvement over original, but then you both know my opinion on the looks of the 12

I wish I was on advanced tea making. I've got another 2 weeks of having nothing to do to get through yet!

Nope, definitely need to move the Dam out of the way. But as it's 2 bolts and about 2 minutes to do not a concern.

I'm convinced my fuelling is better too. Feels smoother down low.

Yep, I think it is too. Noticed it the first ride after fitting it.
