Forum Moderators: I couldn't decide which forum this really belongs in so feel free to relocate this topic or let me know and I'll do it.

I often times see members asking "What's my bike worth?" so I thought I would post Motorcycle Consumer News' Used Bike Value numbers from their Summer Edition 2014. Obviously condition of the bike and mods will alter the numbers a bit but this is a good place to start. Keep in mind that some mods are a detraction to some buyers!

I have found that in pricing cars/bikes NADA is a very good source. And then there's Kelly Blue Book. Seems like most of the time its somewhat optimistic.

I find VFR prices vary by regional locations also. Although I cannot come up with examples, that has been my impression over the last few years.

I just paid $9950 plus $500 setup/freight/etc for a '13 VFR12F out of the box.. Dealer insisted on wetting her down for a 2 mile test run before letting her go. This was two weeks ago in Hillsboro, OR.
