Noobtastic14
Cool idea, except my current Sedici gloves already work with my Droid touchscreen. Do other people have issues? -Drew

Member Contributer realistdreamer Posted April 17, 2012 Member Contributer Share Posted April 17, 2012 My Sedici gloves don't work with my Droid Razr. I've already ordered conductive thread to sew in some "tap caps" myself. Lots of articles about this procedure on the web. Basically, get some conductive yarn-type thread and sew it so it touches your finger and the outside of the glove. Maybe I'll post pics when I'm finished, but I definitely CANNOT sew so don't expect it to be tidy

tc339
No problems with my GPS... Im assuming because most GPS screens are pressure sensitive whereas iPhones and other things are heat or something else weird sensitive. haha

Guest
My Steve IIs work on my iphone without issue, not sure why they do but my old gloves didn't.
Member Contributer realistdreamer Posted April 17, 2012 Member Contributer Share Posted April 17, 2012 Checked out the glove tips and it's not much more than conductive thread and conductive patch sewn in. 35ft of conductive thread/yarn = $2.95 http://www.adafruit.com/products/603 Presumably their kit gives you needle kit ($1.50 at Walmart) and patch ($.50). Good idea, but this sucker will be productized from China/eBay by the end of the year for $5.
