Member Contributer sa1713 Posted April 4, 2011 Member Contributer Share Posted April 4, 2011 I've not used theirs but had the misfortune of using Race Techs. The RT seals were the worst and leaked immediately. Go with OEM.
SEBSPEED
I've not used theirs but had the misfortune of using Race Techs. The RT seals were the worst and leaked immediately. Go with OEM. Big time DITTO. OEM seals are THE BEST, bar none. Not sure why the other guys haven't had any luck copying them, they just can't. I have installed All Balls seals before and they felt cheap and stiff compared to oem. They simply don't seal as well and the rubber deteriorates quicker. Definitely an instance where it's better to pay extra for oem.

wera803
I put some in for a friend that ordered them the same time he ordered wheel bearings and steering head bearings. He thought he would just get everything from one place. I had a hard time getting one of them in and it leaked immediately (after the bike was put back together). Had to pull it back apart and I told him to only get OEM seals this time. No issues since.
