The TBR header is very rare, and most people who are selling a bike with a "Two Brothers Racing full exhaust" actually mean just a slip on, and not the headers. Member Contributer vfrcapn Posted June 6, 2009 Member Contributer Share Posted June 6, 2009 Here's a couple pics. If it's the pre cat bike you can tell by the color and/or the welded seams. Tbros.JPG Exhaust.JPG

The Phantom
Guys, is there a quick method (ie without removing the fairings) to tell if a vfr has the two brothers exhaust header, rather than just a slip on? If it's a 750, the main collector body of the OEM header is made from pressed steel (rather than tubular steel) and has a pronounced 'lip' along each side - easily visible if you get down and look under the lower fairings. The 90-93 750 also differs from the 94-97 750 in that it has a large 'box' collector at the rear, from which the outlet protrudes. The 94-97 has a more direct collector-outlet arrangement. You can see the seam on the OEM header in this pic (94-97 model):
