After witnessing my brother have a nasty crash on his bike this summer due to a neglectful driver, and is still in recovery, I've decided it's time for me to call it quits to riding on 2 wheels. That being said, I'm putting my 2006 VFR800 up for sale locally, and offering all aftermarket parts up for sale. Here's what I've got in terms of aftermarket parts. If you are interested in a black 2006 vfr800, feel free to PM me as well and we can work out a fair price. I hope to add pictures in the near future. If someone is interested in parts, PM me and that may get me out to get some pictures in a more timely fashion. Two Brothers Racing Carbon Black Edition Exhaust - $500 obo Corbin Gunfighter and Lady Saddle - $500 obo - Full Leather (most have vinyl side panels, but I convinced Corbin to make one that was full leather and I was very happy with the end result) MRA Smoke Windscreen - $60 obo - stock shape Givi D217S Windscreen - $75 obo Has spoiler lip to direct airflow over the helmet. Good for long trips Givi V35NA 34 Liter Monokey Side Cases - Black w/ Red Reflector - $500 obo Givi PLXR166 - V35 Rapid Release Sideframes - $200 obo - These are the quick release sideracks that come with a special key so the rack can be easily removed when not in use. Givi 166FZ - Monorack Sidearms & M5 Monokey plate - $125 obo 2002-2009 Smoke Front Turn Signals - $15 obo Thurn Motorsport License Plate Bracket - $50 obo I'm not firm on prices, however some of these parts are now hard to come by. If you see something posted at a lower price somewhere, feel free to send me a link, and if I think it's a fair deal, I'll match or beat the price. I'm in no hurry to sell though. All items are priced w/o shipping or paypal fees. If you would like to purchase multiple items, I'd be willing to make a deal. I can also accept cryptocurrency if preferred

I bought my 86 VFR700f about 20 years ago, I lived in Atlanta at the time, now I am living in TN, but happened to be in Atlanta over the weekend, so I swung by the shop my buddy owns and where I bought the bike from the PO, after talking to my buddy for a while, he says he has something for me, and grabs an 86 VFR Corbin seat, seems the PO dropped it off at his shop a while back and he held it for me. The bike came with the original seat and tail cover, but I bought a Corbin for it a few years after I got it, but this one is more of a solo seat design vs. the two up design I have on it now. Given the bike has over 90k miles on it, and all the spare parts i have for it, it is definitely worth more in parts, but it has too many smiles to give up.

From the album: Hotshoe's Mods
It was a tough install, but with two strong men helping, the seat latched. -
A little background first... I've been riding about 8 years now; started with a 2005 Ninja 500, then 3 years ago I made the move and upgraded to a 2002 VFR800. I was looking specifically for a 2009 in white/black (as I find this to be the best looking bike on the road), but when I saw a 2002 painted in that exact color scheme (!!!) on Kijiji for about half the price the 09's were going for, I knew what was going to happen next... and 2 days later I own a 2002 VFR800! 43,000km or so, currently at about 54,000km. 'Mods' when I bought it: - Repainted in '09 White/Black, no decals on the bike - all logos are airbrushed - Carbon Fibre-ish gas cap cover - Carbon Fibre-ish mirrors - Carbon Fibre-ish barends - Carbon Fibre-ish tank pad - Black Double-bubble windscreen - LED license plate bolt bulbs Mods to date: - Carbon Fibre-ish triple cover - Clear front signal lenses - Heli-bars - Pro Grips - Power Commander 5 - Corbin Seat - Honda Factory Sidebags - Fiamm Freeway Blaster Horn - Battery Tender Jr SAE harness (and BT SAE->USB adapter for charging) - RK Gold XW 520 Chain conversion with steel -1+2 sprockets - EBC HH sintered rear brake pads - De-snorkeled, de-flappered, PAIR removed JUST ADDED: - Autotune - Aftermarket clear/red taillight - "Chrome-dome" turn signal bulbs - full amber glow, only chrome tipped not fully dipped, but when off show silver when facing bike (in transit) - Gear indicator (cheapy Chinese eBay unit - have not finalized the pickup locations as my forks are still off, need to get it on road to test it) - Volt meter (eBay cheapy from China) - SpeedoDRD to correct changed gearing and factory inaccuracy - 6sigma PAIR blockoff plates - VFRness - Ricks R/R - Jamie D rear shock (CBR600F4), fully adjustable cartridge kit in forks - Replaced carbon-fibre look barends with OEM black barends - Replaced carbon-fibre look mirrors with OEM black mirrors - New starter relay / connector / wiring (due to melting, see thread "crispy starter solenoid") - Went through every connector and as much wiring as I could access to ensure nothing else is burned/melted/needed to be replaced. Dielectric grease ftw - New rear Pirelli Angel GT - Replacement OEM Honda spark plugs - Chinese adjustable/foldable black/titanium levers Mods to come: - 8 spoke 90-93 rear wheel (working on finding one) - Sebspeed clear clutch cover - Staintunes (possibly) - Rear OEM topcase (possibly) Its been a fun winter of farkling... If anyone wants details on install of any parts, or any specific pictures, post up or PM me! Pics (taken today 07/04/2015)

A nice day to check out the new seat. Suffice to say, I will not be able to remove and replace this seat by myself until it's really broken in. But it looks good and with the smuggler I won't have to keep anything under the seat anyway. -

And it's heated! -
From the album: Hotshoe's Mods
Really a decent amount of room in the smuggler. -
From the album: Hotshoe's Mods
The smuggler is a mixed blessing. I will love having a spot for my cookie, extra (hopefully heated) gloves, a visor for walking around, a comb, a knife, a can cozy, my charger, my nano...and being able to leave the purse or tank bag at home for day rides. But, I've lost my grab bars and extra seat space for bungeeing my gym bag behind me. Guess I'll be looking for a decent backpack for karate class. -

I love the look. -

With temps in the 40s, it was a brisk ride to try out the new seat. -

First ride on the new seat was a marked improvement over the stock seat. -
I'm seriously looking at getting one for my VFR but would love a chance to sit on one. Is there anyone out there in the area that would help a gal out? My husband had one for his ST1100 years ago and loved it. I've been reading various reviews here in the forum. Sounds like it's hit or miss on whether the seat will suit me. Lots of riders mention sliding forward on the stock seat. I tend to ride up on the tank just because I'm shorter from waist to shoulder and that's how I'm comfortable, so I don't necessarily want it to change that. But I've done some fairly long days in the saddle, especially my first trip with the VFR. I think we did about 750 miles on the first day and between the lack of a throttle lock and the burning butt bones, I was seriously doubting the wisdom of replacing my Suzuki Bandit. I had a Throttlemeister ordered before the trip home. That just leaves the seat. But it's a lot of money for the one I want, though. Was hoping by chance to find someone here who has one?

Hello everyone, I was wondering what would be better to look into buying first, a seat or some luggage? Corbin sells a combo w/backrest for about $700 roughly and Givi has their set up with E21 sides and a E36 top w/backrest for about the same $700. Im debating only because my 7yr old has done some riding with me in the past on a sportster and a honda shadow both with backrest both no longer in my garage. I feel that the three bag set up will be more secure for him but the Corbin would be better for me. I have other kids that like to ride out to the coast with me in the summer so +1 on the seat upgrade. On the other hand, i commute to work and the E21 hard cases would be perfect for storing rain gear and misc stuffs... so +1 there. I have considered other options such as a sargent seat, but no backrest... so -1. Anyway I cant decide so i thought i'd turn here to you all for a little feedback. What would you buy first?

http://www.ebay.com/...bac8563&vxp=mtr I have wanted a new saddle for my VFR since the day I got it. I was leaning towards a Sargent, but I found this Corbin on ebay at a price I couldn't pass up! There are some faded spots from usage, but nothing serious. Any tips on re-blacking the seat that won't stain my clothes?
