  1. The subframe wings on the 3rd gen just ruin the illusion, far better to start with a 4th gen.
  2. http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/hondaz/VFR7501994-97.htm For your track bodywork needs.
  3. The only shipping option USPS is allowing me is an incredible $250.

  5. As long as it's 25 years old,it's not hard to do into the US and even newer than that, there are dubious ways. If you are looking for a neat JDM bike anywhere,I strongly suggest contacting Naomi at Miyabee Plus, she will have it crated and sent to a port pretty much anywhere.
  6. A CB500X,made in Thailand, has the same price. This means either the Honda is hideously overpriced,American labor and materials have become magicallycheaper than Thai, this is a more drawn out version of the Dale.
  7. George DeCamp, you might better know his son Steve for running Hooters Suzuki among other things. Really, really cool guys.
  8. I have a Delkevic midpipe with TBR can on mine, just made a little tab for the muffler.I haven't got the spring mount U's from Burns zapped on yet so I'm rolling around safety wire style
  9. I have a 4th gen Wingrack, with the subframe mounts for a 94-97. I have no idea what shipping may be but would be willing to knock it down and mail it off,I'm in Massachusetts. $200 plus shipping and I'll throw in a Givi screen. The bike they came on only had 1100 miles on it so couldn't have seen much use. I hate to be "that guy" but it was so clean I bought a 5th gen to tour on instead of using it for why I bought the thing
  10. Awesome! This was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you. I am most interested in the small details that set them apart. What other details do you find lacking in the 5th gens? The 800 is a bit more touring oriented, and if you would like a tiny bit more leg room and an inch or so higher bars it may fit you better. I prefer the 750's slightly sportier nature. As for what details I prefer,it's a bit subjective and it may be my bias rather than reality but I think everything is just a bit nicer, the paint certainly is. The 750s are really classy looking while the only angle I like of the 800 is a direct front view,in profile it's a bit frumpy. OK,I will put it this way: I don't think Givi racks hurt the 800's looks and help its function. If I want to go for a sporty ride,750;cover a few hundred miles and not worry a thing about bugs, rock chips and grime, the 800. Even though very similar one speaks to me emotionally and the other practically. Again though,if you find a clean, low mile 800 cheap I would say hop on it and be happy as they are great bikes.
  11. The 4th is a sportier ride and just feels more special. It's things like the pearl in the clearcoat and the classier gauges and the NACA ducts. The 800 is a bit stodgy and the clocks are a little economy car, especially the textured surround;in short it's just not as nice. It's a phenomenal bike,it just isn't classy like the 750. There really is nothing in it when it comes to power, the 800 is not faster in any practical sense. Also, though easy to disable I thought the linked brakes were an unnecessary way to add cost and a smidge of weight. Really though, they're all great and you can't go wrong with any of them. If I had to just have one VFR,it would be as mint of an 86 750 as I could find though,as an emotional pick.
  12. It's listed as for RS250s but I have one on an RC30 tail that is on one of my Hawk GTs.
  13. I don't care about performance and will purchase a high lefty if produced. I'll certainly get stainless 5th gen headers too, they're the only thing that don't look new still.
  14. An HRC seat pad would finish the tail off nicely, part number 77220-NXA-000
