I've mapped my journey and it's ~1500 miles. My plan is to take US 12 and I90 to Coeur d'Alene to Newport, WA then WA 20 west, WA 31 and BC 6 north to Nelson. I figure I can do it at an old man's pace in about five days, give or take a week. :-) I'll plan on leaving 7/15 and may get there early in order to have time to dress the deer for the Barbie Q. And check out Canada's IPAs. Can't wait to see all you PNWers.1 point

Okey dokey! It sounds, at least so far, that the overwhelming idea is to go to the pub. I'll be going out to Nelson in the next couple of weeks and I'll arrange a deal at one of the pubs - perhaps, one for each night and keep everyone posted.1 point
