    Home !!! I can't thank everyone enough for the assistance. Huntinggunns & VcFR for the 500 mile trailer rescue run and locating the parts. Corner Carver clan, Sweeper, Q-Dawg, and others for the wrenching. Here's to old friends reacquainted and to the new friends made, with every one being the best of friends.     Fred and Lisa arrived Bozeman last night at 10pm. It was a VERY long day for them.

    I can't thank Fred and Lisa enough for what they are doing for me. They are driving 500 miles to Bozeman to get me to Custer. Yes, a thousand miles round trip !!!

    I sent a PM to Josh / Tightwad this morning to see if he has a stator, regulator and gasket available for a 2007 VFR.

    Don’t know if stator has been replaced. If not replaced as park of normal maintenance then not likely. At least it died when I was at a rest stop and not out in the middle of nowhere without cell service to call a tow. Was able to book a hotel for at least 3 nights. I’ve also called the Rocket about my predicament. Will update when I have news. Kevin

    I’m going to be late if show up at all. My ride died on me at the rest stop on I-90 between Bozeman and Billings. Waiting for a tow back to Bozeman for service that won’t be open until Monday. So I’ll be staying a few days in Bozeman. This hasn’t been my day to say the least. Kevin.

    I was thinking a show up Tuesday and leave Thursday for a one-day Wednesday meet was a bit too short. Had booked Thursday night just in case.

    Might be best to note that Friday is the official departure day. I was reading the July 10-12 as meaning the departure (checkout) date was Thursday.

    Arrived home at 5:30 pm. Was delayed about hour and half trying to get over I-90 Snoqualmie Pass due to heavy traffic and construction restricting traffic lanes. Got a bit toasty sitting in stop and slow traffic under a hot sun. Thanks Mike for another Nelson success! Great seeing old friends and meeting new ones on this trip. Kevin

    Just arrived in Wenatchee for the night. Will be heading north via 97 and 20 to Northport and stopping in Trail if I arrive before 2 pm for lunch at the Colander. Thanks for mentioning it Choco. I remember we stopped there on our way to KH2, but didn't remember the name. See ya'll tomorrow in Nelson.

    I might qualify; but no deer. Motorcycle: dog (survived - avoided one but sideswiped the other one), one snake. Motorcycle / Car: chipmunks. Car: possum and kamikaze bird.
