Hi everyone, dipped out of bikes for too many years, just baught two VF750f's, both '83. First one definitely needs a rebuild, in looking for parts, found second one, too good to pass up, cam chain issue....

So second will remain stock. First will be rebuilt over time with tricks I can afford.

Love some of the work on here by all out there.54cc5cce0d47c45af4bf9bfc41dc6c87.jpg107db65e281ca1703b3b673b4e41fe59.jpg

VFRD -- possibly the greatest enthusiast forum in all the world. We have all manner of motorcyclists here: old, young, fast, slow, commuters, tourers, racers, modders, stockers, master mechanics and noobs. Englishmen, even!

There are a few guys here with serious knowledge on the 83s (RC15?). Now it's those guys plus you.

Welcome to the community.

We didn't get the gold wheels over here, I like them! Keep us posted on your progress.

Me too... My older sister had a CB 900 F around '83-86...it was black. A mechanic friend rebuilt it white with Candy Apple stripe detail, it looked awesome, he painted the wheels gold with gold flecks in the paint, really changed the bike.

Thanks Rob, I'm going to draw off them if they'll agree to talk old school bikes.

I'm glad I grew up at a time when all my mates were into, and fiddling with bikes, so I plan to play with the rebuild.
