Wiring Tomtom Gps Into 8Th Gen Vfr

Hi, I am looking for help. i have purchased a TomTom Rider and want to wire it into a switched power supply so it goes off with the ignition. Has anyone done this successfully, I am loathed to cut into the loom but cannot think of another option. A previous bike (Triumph Tiger) had a handy connector I could use, Cannot see one on the VFR.

What is the best wire (Color?) to use for the live feed?

I have searched the forum but haven't come across anything that helps me.

Thanks

Carlos

I did this by using the fuse box under the seat. I pulled out the fuse for the headlights and put the positive wire in there, then put the fuse back in.

The negative was wired to the (-) battery terminal.

It then comes on and off with the ignition.

I have done this too, over a year ago but if I recall there is a fuse marked ACC or something similar under the seat that is switched to the ignition, I spliced into that.
