Member Contributer Dutchy Posted April 15, 2015 Member Contributer Share Posted April 15, 2015 The plan was to fit a left exit exhaust on my 4th gen (you all know how that ended...) so it seemed logical to have my friendly mechanic do some other tasks on my 90,000km/18 year old 4th gen. Valve check in another post, here the other TLC Ultrasone carb cleaning 18 years of road grime and now The needles etc were all checked; there was no varnish build up or grooves/scratches. The clutch basket had grooves and getting her in neutral was becoming a bit hard at times. I had a better spare one in the shed so that one was fitted Lastly new coolant (G12+ what is said to be the bizniz.... I would not know, if it is wet it would be good enough for me....) Drain the blue/green , in with the red!!! She's sexy and she knows it!!! :-)

Member Contributer Dutchy Posted April 15, 2015 Author Member Contributer Share Posted April 15, 2015 Wear rubber gloves when you do....... when I took mine off to fit the MotoGP style one that Doug made me, I used a wide blade screwdriver first to scoop the muck....
