duccmann
Went by Honda today, they had no clue, couldn't find it anywhere. I even looked at the spokes they had on the showroom floor, just said honda and wheel size. Service manager will call Honda and try to get the information fer me. Member Contributer 2FAST4U Posted January 14, 2015 Member Contributer Share Posted January 14, 2015 I don't know the answer to your question but if you like the gold wheels on what is, in my opinion, one of the best-looking sport bikes ever made (the 1098R), the color code is 7614. Allyance
I wouldn't call my wheels gold, but more like bronze. The Duc is sweet. Scroll down to Yuki's blog, you will see what I mean.

Member Contributer JZH Posted January 15, 2015 Member Contributer Share Posted January 15, 2015 Wheel colours are sometimes listed in the Parts Catalogues, but maybe only if there was more than one color wheel available for that model. In other words, Honda may only include that information if it is relevant to determine the correct part number--if all wheels were the same colour, there is no reason to specify the colour code in the microfiche. If you're going powder, though, just pick the color you like best! Ciao,
duccmann
Thanks, Honda here in Simi actually called Honda Corp and the only color codes they have are just for the body...no wheel codes. He did find out that Honda uses Color Rite, now goin to check out there web site...Guess you can type in year, make and model. Or maybe I will just go for a cooper looking color. Member Contributer Jochem Posted May 2, 2015 Member Contributer Share Posted May 2, 2015 If you mean the colour for the 2014 VFR800F, it's YR-325M Pyrite Brown Metallic.

ca315
I went to a panel shop, they specialise in Porsche, picked a dark metallic gold from their samples, lined it up against some Porsche gold rims. Bead blasted rims, gold metallic and a clear coat. They were a work of art, same to put tires on them. Two close up photos are a better colour representation of the real thing. Wife's Hornet.
